The new business name “Unearthing” encompases all areas of Charlie’s work within a single brand, evolving her style and focus. Since 2004 Charlie has been operating as Charlie Design, freelancing in the online communications, PR and media space. She founded the DeadRed Wine Group concept in 2007, embracing all platforms of social media communications to develop a viable and thriving social group, writing about her journey in the book called “Unearthing”, published in 2011. Since then, Charlie has helped create a new consultancy called Unearthing Ideas, working and lecturing for clients such as UniSA. Each brand, a separate entity. Now they are combined.
“Unearthing” captures Charlie’s working spirit through unearthing online, ideas and experiences.
Online: Charlie has always been an early adopter of new technologies, she welcomes all challenges to examine and work through new opportunities, so Unearthing Online seems a fitting replacement for Charlie Design.
Ideas: An initiative developed with Ron Corso bringing together the fields of creativity and social learning to engage the creative capacities inherent in all of us. Essentially this focus is remaining as is, with core consultancy work being the use of the creative thinking framework and idea generation methodologies. This work is in conjunction with UniSA.

Thank you so much for your kind words Adrian. Isn't this a wonderful journey we are travelling? I love watching your career grow and expand as well.
This is all a relatively new thing - even if we feel like we have been Facebooking and Tweeting "forever"... in the grand scheme of things, we have so far to go. It's wonderful watching it unfold. I can't wait to see how it adapts for my kids (and yours!) xx
